Domestic Violence Crisis Center Seeks Community Donations

for its Holiday Gift Card and Toy Drive

Stamford, CT– As the holiday season approaches, the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) invites the community to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence. DVCC is proud to announce its annual Holiday Gift Card and Toy Drive to benefit its community clients and their children.

“The holiday season can be particularly challenging for families affected by domestic violence. Many of our clients are newly single parents, often without any financial support from the abusive partner,” said Suzanne Adam, DVCC’s CEO.

DVCC seeks community support through donations of gift cards and new, unused toys. Gift cards are a respectful way to empower survivors to purchase what they most need or want for their families. Simultaneously, the gift of toys brings the joy of the holiday season to children who have faced adversity, lightening the load for families during these festive times.

The organization requests that all gift cards and unwrapped toys arrive by December 8. Donations can be shipped or dropped off weekdays from 10am to 4pm at DVCC’s Stamford office.
