“No man is an island, entire of itself…” wrote John Donne, and neither should social services agencies be isolated, operating without thought or action to reaching out to other community resources in order to provide the best possible services and outcomes for its clients. DVCC is privileged to have close relationships with government, social service and private organizations that enable us to reach out to victims of domestic violence where they are most likely to be found and to offer them a full range of services – services that not only get them through the immediate crisis, but that also can help them to move forward in positive directions.
