Six professionals in the corporate, education and social service fields have come together and are generously lending their time and knowledge to help PeaceWorks grow and expand throughout our communities. Charged with providing guidance, critical expertise and program support, the PeaceWorks Education Council members have met twice with PeaceWorks staff and have already provided assistance with plans for improving ways to measure the results of our educational programs and suggestions for future fundraising. Concrete support has also been forthcoming, as some members have acted as a liaison with certain schools and another has offered to print the Outcome Measurement surveys. PeaceWorks educators are grateful to the council members for their time and input and are looking forward to working with this dynamic coalition. The Education Council members are: Brian Allen, Senior Director of Corporate Security at Time Warner Cable; Phebe Fallon, Head Guidance Counselor at Nathan Hale Middle School in Norwalk; Deborah Bell Johnson, Assistant Principal at Nathan Hale Middle School; Kim Kus, Teacher and Curriculum Instructional Leader for the Health, Physical Education and Family and Consumer Science Department in the Weston Public Schools; Juan Pazmino, School Social Worker and Family Resource Facilitator for the Stamford Public Schools; John Watkins, President, ABC National Television Sales.
