Cause And Effect: Impact DVCC

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, when the Domestic Violence Crisis Center will join agencies and organizations across the country to focus attention on the horrific toll domestic violence takes on victims and their families, provide information on where to go for help, and offer education and information aimed at preventing future violence.

DVCC is fortunate and grateful to have support from individuals and organizations across Fairfield County, including Domestic Violence Task Forces and Partnerships in five of the communities we serve. During October, the members who make up these organizations, along with DVCC Teen PeaceWorks groups, will be out in full force blanketing their towns with information about domestic violence, dating violence, and the services provided by DVCC. Especially impressive this year is the support from first responders and businesses throughout our communities. Please see below for the schedule of events during October. Also visit our websites www.dvccct.org and www.esperanzaCT.org and our Facebook page for further information on October events.
