DVCC has moved to a new location in Norwalk, placing us within walking distance of the Norwalk Courthouse, as well as many area businesses. Outfitted to meet the growth in our service delivery, which has increased by more than 300% over the past six years, the new workplace at 16 River Street offers a warm, light-filled environment that includes a waiting/meeting area, conference room and several offices to welcome clients and visitors from the community. The new space houses DVCC staff members who provide our full range of services, including counseling, legal advocacy, housing advocacy, medical advocacy, training advocacy and PeaceWorks violence prevention education.

"The new Norwalk office allows DVCC to better meet the needs of our clients who live in Norwalk, as well as those who live in Westport, New Canaan, Darien, Wilton and Weston," said DVCC Executive Director Rachelle Kucera Mehra. "Clients have always had the option of coming to either our Stamford or Norwalk location, but now Norwalk offers the same spacious and welcoming environment that our office in Stamford provides. Additionally, the new office places us much closer to the Norwalk Courthouse, where DVCC attorneys and Family Violence Victim Advocates advocate for clients every day of the week."
